Washing Instruction:

How to Not Ruin Your New Favorite Shirt

Washing:

• Cold water only — hot water is for sterilizing instruments, not your tee
• Turn inside out first (protect that graphic like you protect your last clean pair of gloves)
• Gentle detergent only — this shirt just survived its first shift, don't stress it out
• First wash may bleed a little — separate it, just like your difficult patients

Drying:

• Air dry when possible — more time hanging = more time for you to actually eat your lunch
• Tumble dry low if needed — remove promptly, because wrinkles are one more thing you don't have time for

A Few More Orders From the Attending:

• No bleach. Ever. We don't care how stubborn the stain is.
• Skip the fabric softener — it messes with the texture and we didn't ask for its input
• No ironing directly on the graphic — flip it inside out or use a pressing cloth, not everything needs to be done the hard way

Treat it right and it'll outlast your longest stretch of back-to-back shifts.
